The term of validity of the declaration of conformity is determined by the Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) taking into account the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of Consumer Rights”, based on the results of analysis of the submitted documentation, warranty period, shelf life (operation) of products.
Information on registered declarations of conformity is posted on the CB website.
In case of expiration of the declaration of conformity, the application for registration of the declaration of conformity is submitted for the next term.
Declaration of conformity to technical regulations
Conformity of products to the requirements of technical regulations, which apply to them, is confirmed by carrying out procedures determined by a separate Technical Regulation and requirements for marking with a national conformity mark.
Conformity assessment modules are approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 13.01.2016 N 95 “On approval of conformity assessment modules, which are used to develop conformity assessment procedures, and the rules of use of conformity assessment modules”. The procedure for drawing up and registration of the declaration of conformity shall comply with the requirements of each individual Technical Regulations of Ukraine on registration in the CMU Resolution by which it is approved.
